The 1st Congress of the Da Nang Event Destination & Association (DECA) for the 2026–2030 term was successfully held at the Furama International Convention Palace, marking an important milestone in the development journey of the city’s MICE tourism industry.

Under the theme “Connecting Events – Elevating Destinations”, the Congress was not only the occasion for the introduction of the new Executive Committee, consisting of 19 members and chaired by Mr. Le Dinh Nam, but also served as a platform for knowledge exchange with the participation of leading industry experts.

The event provided valuable strategic insights into tourism development trends in the new landscape, particularly highlighting the role of data and technology in enhancing destination competitiveness.

One of the key highlights of the Congress was the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between participating organizations. The partnership aims to build a professional, integrated, and internationally oriented destination ecosystem, creating a solid foundation for Da Nang to strengthen its position on the global events and tourism map.
