12/06/2026
The Event & Destination Club DECA, alongside the People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Da Nang Tourism Association, participated in the Investment, Trade, and Tourism Cooperation Forum Promoting the Development of the East-West Economic Corridor 2025, held in Pakse City, Champasak Province (Laos) from April 3rd to 4th, 2026.

Through the event, DECA continues to affirm its position as a strategic bridge between tourism enterprises, event organizers, and regional destinations, contributing to promoting international cooperation and expanding the linkage network across the entire East-West Economic Corridor.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hang - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam delivers her speech.

The forum opens up numerous potential cooperation opportunities with southern localities of Laos such as Attapeu, Champasak, Salavan, Savannakhet, and Sekong – markets rich in potential for developing multi-destination tourism, exchanging international tourists, as well as building strategic cross-border tourism-event products.

DECA's presence at the forum not only contributes to promoting the image of Da Nang as a dynamic tourism and event hub of Central Vietnam, but also demonstrates a long-term development orientation in elevating the city's position on the regional MICE and trade map.

With a long-term vision, DECA is step by step becoming a strategic connecting focal point, contributing to turning Da Nang into a dynamic event and trade destination of the region.
