The Event & Destination Club DECA, alongside the People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Da Nang Tourism Association, participated in the Investment, Trade, and Tourism Cooperation Forum Promoting the Development of the East-West Economic Corridor 2025, held in Pakse City, Champasak Province (Laos) from April 3rd to 4th, 2026.

As the global MICE tourism sector continues to experience strong growth and increasingly serves as a dual catalyst for trade and investment, Da Nang has marked a significant milestone in its journey to strengthen its position in the event destination landscape with the official launch of the Da Nang Event Destination Association (DECA). This also represents the first time in Vietnam that a specialized organization dedicated to the event destination ecosystem has been established.
