SPACE – ART – HERITAGE STORY
“My Son Legendary Night” is an elaborately staged and spectacular outdoor art performance featuring nearly 100 performers, recreating the historical flow and spiritual life of the ancient Cham people right at the My Son Temple Complex – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Using modern theatrical language combined with lighting, sound, music, and visual effects, the program takes the audience across space and time, from the present back to the past, to better understand the harmony between the past and present, between the values preserved in every brick and relief of this thousand-year-old sacred site.
THE FLOW OF HISTORY RECREATED THROUGH THREE CHAPTERS
Chapter 1: The Valley – A Story of Time
Beginning the journey, the audience is led into the timeline of the ancient towers. Light, music, and stage movements blend to paint a vivid picture, recreating the beauty, ups and downs, and historical imprint of the My Son temple complex through different periods.
Chapter 2: The Legendary Night of My Son
Viewers are transported back to ancient times, to the sacred land where the Cham people placed their faith and spirituality in every red brick. Amidst the ancient architecture, the vibrant stage creates a majestic harmony, evoking memories of a glorious era of the Champa kingdom.
Chapter 3: The Intermingling of Light
As modern light intertwines with the ancient red bricks, the program concludes with a meaningful moment of intersection between the past and the present. This is a gentle yet profound reminder of the responsibility to preserve and promote precious heritage values for future generations.

“My Son Legendary Night” not only offers a visually stunning artistic feast but also provides an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the sacred atmosphere of My Son as night falls. The ancient towers appear magically illuminated, the graceful Cham dance, the sound of the Paranung drums and the Saranai horns echoing through the mountains… all transport viewers to a moment from thousands of years ago.
SPECIAL EVENT ON NOVEMBER 21, 2025
In celebration of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2025), the My Son World Heritage Management Board will organize a special program, "Legendary My Son Night," on November 21, 2025.
Visitors will receive free admission from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and can participate in activities within the framework of the World Heritage Club Conference in Vietnam. This is a rare opportunity to both enjoy art and experience the profound cultural depth of the My Son heritage site.

Performance Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, November 21, 2025.
Free admission: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM on the same day.
